An ambulance in 🇾🇪 Taiz was struck by the Houthis using a first-person-view drone, causing significant damage to the vehicle and its interior, with clear signs of a fire on the wreckage in the aftermath of the strike. It should be noted that the ambulance was not empty at the time of the strike.
When the strike occurred, the ambulance was on an emergency medical intervention involving an 18-year-old woman, who suffered injuries after shelling by the Houthis hit her residence in 🇾🇪 Al-Shaqab. Inside the ambulance were also a doctor and a doctor who was actively working on the woman at the time of the strike.
Despite medical efforts, both the woman and the driver, Hussam al-Numani, died from the injuries they sustained in the strike. The doctor who was with the woman suffered extensive injuries and remains in the care of the medical staff at the Al Thawrah General Hospital in 🇾🇪 Taiz, according to locals.
