Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš hopes the Republican defeat in the US midterms will prompt President Trump to follow through on his promise to end Russia's war in Ukraine and address the conflict around the Strait of Hormuz. Speaking before a trip to Poland, Babiš acknowledged the scale of the Democrats' victory and warned that Washington could face impeachment fights, vetoes and political paralysis.
