Germany's Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul has expressed cautious optimism that the Democrats' victory in the US midterm elections could lead to stronger American support for Ukraine. Speaking in Berlin, he said he hoped Republicans and Democrats would resume more active discussions in Congress about joint measures to help Kyiv. Wadephul noted that committed supporters of Ukraine exist in both parties and both chambers. Any increase in assistance would still require political agreement. #Ukraine
