Hezbollah has addressed the explosives truck seized in Lebanon's Beqaa Valley for the first time.
Hezbollah MP Ibrahim al-Moussawi, speaking in Dahiyeh, said that if the truck belongs to the group's military wing, Hezbollah has no shame or embarrassment about it and is fulfilling its duty. He argued that as long as there is occupation and aggression, and as long as the Lebanese government and army cannot act for lack of a political decision, possession is a natural right. He also dismissed attempts to tie the truck to political assassinations inside Lebanon.
PM Nawaf Salam said earlier that the investigation will be expanded and everyone involved brought to justice.
