Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem, first comments on the Ali al-Tahr ridge:
"At Ali al-Tahr there was a firm stand of three months and in all places there was a firm stand of several months, but maintaining the territory is not what we worked for."
Qassem said fighters left for other areas and came back under a policy of alternating attack and withdrawal. The resistance, he said, acts on calculations of profit and loss and prevents the occupation from establishing itself.
