Hezbollah Secretary General Naim Qassem, speaking at the opening of the group's Hassan Nasrallah Heritage Center, said Israel will not be able to remain in southern Lebanon and that his group will not offer anything in exchange for a withdrawal. He also congratulated Iraqis on what he called driving the American occupier out of Iraq.
