Housam al-Astal, who heads the anti-Hamas militia called the Counterterrorism Strike Force, claims his fighters ran an overnight operation purging tents.
No civilians were hurt, according to al-Astal. Anyone detained and found to have no terror links was let go, each handed 400 shekels and 2 packs of cigarettes.
The operation now expands across Gaza, al-Mawasi in Khan Younis included. Al-Astal vowed his men will reach "every tent and every house" where Hamas members are sheltering.
To Hamas: "You are finished."
