IDF and Shin Bet: Akram Bassam Shaaban Yassin, a senior official in Hamas' General Security apparatus, was eliminated today in an intelligence guided strike on Gaza City.
The apparatus is a covert body tasked with securing senior Hamas figures, moving them between emergency assets, and collecting intelligence on Israeli security forces to support planning and execution of attacks.
According to the IDF, Yassin was advancing attacks on Israeli troops and civilians and working to rebuild Hamas' military capabilities in systematic violation of the ceasefire.
