IDF troops began voting today, ahead of Israel's October 27 national election.
850 polling stations are open in Israel and beyond its borders, staffed by roughly 3,000 soldiers trained by the Central Elections Committee. About 25% are mobile, covering 40 outposts in Gaza, army positions in Lebanon and nine in Syria.
Soldiers who vote at civilian stations on October 27 will use double envelopes to prevent double voting.
