In a statement indicating more earnest Saudi backing and support for the renewed Yemeni government offensive against the Houthis, the Official Spokesperson of the Coalition to Restore legitimacy in Yemen has said that they will continue “to provide full operational support to the Yemeni Armed Forces.” The statement also condemned the Houthis’ targeting of the holy city of Mecca, other cities and airbases, across Saudi Arabia, and civilian and energy infrastructure across the nation.
