Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:
I have just concluded a security assessment with the Defense Minister, the IDF Chief of Staff, the head of the Shin Bet, the National Security Adviser, and the head of Central Command.
I commend our heroic fighters who acted decisively and thwarted a major terror attack. I wish our wounded a speedy recovery.
I have instructed the IDF and security forces to immediately impose a cordon on the city of Hebron and prepare for a full closure of Judea and Samaria starting today.
Our forces are operating at increased strength to thwart terrorism and are carrying out extensive waves of arrests.
We will pursue Hamas terrorists and their sponsors everywhere and at all times. There is nowhere for you to hide.
