JUST IN: Iran is threatening AI companies and data centers across the Persian Gulf.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf announced plans for a “Persian Gulf Data Authority,” warning regional governments, investment funds and companies against supporting AI firms allegedly involved in military operations.
“No finance, equity, land and energy.”
He concluded with a direct threat:
“Assist them and face our enforcement.”
Are we about to see Iran target data centers in the Gulf again?
