JUST IN: The withdrawal of 12 B-1B “Lancer” bombers from RAF Fairford was reportedly prompted by threats of an Iran-backed terrorist attack against the base, according to Axios.
Additionally, a Pentagon spokesperson confirmed that the bombers can still carry out airstrikes from the United States, if needed.
