Lebanese journalist Tony Bolus, who writes for the Saudi outlet Independent Arabia, marked the October 7 anniversary with a post attacking Hamas:
Hamas terrorists ignited a war with a massacre of children, women and civilians in Israel in which roughly 1,200 people were killed, he wrote.
"They ignited the spark, then plunged the region into a maze of blood and destruction for three years, but the fire returned to those who ignited it: the leadership of the Iranian militias fell, the Revolutionary Guards were severely beaten, and the Iranian stones of influence began to collapse like dominoes."
On the terror groups: "They called it victory, but left the people under the ruins."
