MISINFORMATION: This old video of Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk is circulating online, misleading users about the current situation.
The video dates back to September 2024, when Poland was hit by devastating floods following extreme rainfall across Central Europe.
At the time, several regions were severely affected, thousands of people were evacuated, and emergency services, the Polish military, and international assistance teams were deployed to support rescue and relief operations.
During a crisis meeting in Wrocław, Tusk addressed the situation and reassured residents about the presence of German soldiers assisting with flood response efforts.
The footage is now being shared out of context, creating the false impression that his remarks are related to current events.
