🇪🇬🇸🇦 Egypt: Parliament has authorized the military to help defend Saudi Arabia if Riyadh requests assistance. Cairo says any involvement would be limited to defending Saudi territory and borders, not attacking Yemen.
🇮🇷 Iran: Senior officials from Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan have met Iranian officials in Tehran to discuss regional security and de-escalation. It is their first such high-level contact since the conflict spread to Saudi Arabia.
🇷🇸 Serbia: With nearly 99% of votes counted, the student-backed list has secured 52.7% and a projected 139 of 250 parliamentary seats. Vučić conceded defeat on Sunday. The movement now faces the harder task of forming a government, with its approach to Russia, Kosovo and the EU still uncertain.
🇰🇵 North Korea: South Korea observed unusual movements: three armored vehicles were visibly positioned near the DMZ and were identified by Yonhap as 122-mm self-propelled howitzers. Between 20 and 30 North Korean troops were also seen conducting fence work.
