NEW: 🇷🇴 After disruptions in the Netherlands and Belgium, Romania is also being affected by the major cyber incident at Ahold Delhaize, the Dutch- retail group that owns Mega Image, Shop&Go and Profi.
This morning, Mega Image customers are still experiencing problems with online orders, personalized offers and Card Connect discounts. Employees in Bucharest have also reportedly faced difficulties accessing certain company applications remotely.
The disruptions follow a cybersecurity incident announced by Ahold Delhaize on October 12. The company took some systems offline as a precaution while investigating and protecting its network. It has since begun a controlled restoration of certain systems, but services have yet to return fully to normal.
