NEW | 🇫🇷 France plans to deploy 70,000 police and gendarmes nationwide on Saturday, October 31, as another round of protests coincides with Halloween.
Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez warned of a “very high risk” of public disorder, particularly after 8 p.m. citing calls for further gatherings once daytime demonstrations have ended..
Authorities also plan tighter controls and restrictions on protest routes through city centres. The deployment would match last Saturdays operation.
