NEW | 🇸🇾 🇯🇴 Syria has closed the Nassib border crossing with Jordan following Jordanian airstrikes in the southern provinces of Daraa and Sweida.
Amman says its air force targeted militant hideouts linked to Friday's attack on a Greek Orthodox church in Karak, which killed nine people.
Jordan also claims the operation was coordinated with Damascus. The Syrian government denies any prior coordination and says it has opened an investigation.
Syrian Civil Defence reports seven people killed, including three children and a woman, and three others wounded. Five of the victims reportedly belonged to the same family.
The crossing has been closed to passenger and commercial traffic in both directions.
