NEW | The Turkey–Saudi Arabia–Pakistan Mecca Defence Pact will meet in Riyadh tomorrow, with Ankara sending its foreign and defence ministers and armed forces chief.
it comes a day after Yemen’s Saudi-backed government announced a major anti-Houthi offensive.
For now, this looks more like a serious coordination meeting than the start of a joint war effort. But with Yemen moving back to the center of Saudi security planning, the question is whether Riyadh is using the pact to line up political backing, military support and division of roles before the next phase.
