NEW | 🇺🇦 🇷🇺 Ukraine's military intelligence says Russia plans to offer five African countries simplified port access for its warships and support vessels during the Russia–Africa summit in Moscow on October 28–29.
The countries named are Cameroon, the Republic of the Congo, Madagascar, Nigeria and Togo.
Such agreements could make Russian naval visits and resupply easier to arrange but they wouldn't automatically give Moscow permanent bases.
