Quick recap of events from the past few days in INDOPACOM AOR.
Exercise Keen Sword 26 is kicking off this week with many units from JSDF, the USAF, USN and USMC all participating.
USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) CSG has left Yokosuka, Japan.
USS Makin Island (LHD-8) ARG are moving East from Hawaii.
4x "ED" F-35B from VMFA-533 have moved from MCAS Iwakuni (RJOI) to Kadena AB (RODN).
2x "AK" F-22A from the 525th FS have moved to Tsuiki AB (RJFZ).
9(?)x "JZ" F-15C from the 122nd FS are soon to move to RODN and are currently at Hickam AFB (PHNL). It is unclear if these assets are moving on a scheduled rotational deployment to Kadena to replace the AK and FF F-22s or if they are in theatre for the exercise. #CW409
2x KDC-10 have arrived at RODN, presumably to drag 6x "FF" F-22A back to CONUS and eventually Langley after being forward deployed since late May.
