RAF Fairford Bomber Swap #IranWar
For the first time since July 2026, we've had a change of airframes in the US bomber fleet at RAF Fairford. One aircraft arrived at the end of September, and today one of the other jets has gone home:
Departing:
B-1B "BANYA11" 86-0139 (EL) #AE6C0A "Drifter"
Arrived:
B-1B "TINO40" 86-0111 (EL) #AE6BF3 "Let's Roll"
There is a chance that a second rotation will occur in the near future, as "TINO40" was meant to have been a flight of 2 aircraft.
