#RAF Royal Air Force - 🚨 NATO Air Policing / Quick Reaction Alert (QRA)
Airbus KC.2 Voyager 1x
#43C6F6 ZZ333 - ASCOT 9301
An RAF Voyager has scrambled from Prestwick Airport this morning squawking 1321 NATO Air Policing.
The use of ASCOT rather than TARTAN suggests this QRA is outside UK airspace and possibly being conducted by F-35s off a Royal Navy aircraft carrier, rather than Typhoon’s from Lossiemouth.
Chances are this is a real QRA. No further information at this time.
