Residents of Aden heard explosions before Yemen's Houthis ordered the immediate evacuation of the city's international airport, Reuters reported. A second warning followed less than 2 hours after the first, according to Anadolu.
Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree claimed a Saudi military cargo aircraft carrying weapons was at the airport. That claim has not been verified.
Saudi authorities have not commented, and no strike on the airport has been confirmed.
