Russia relies on the Su-34 as one of its main aircraft for dropping guided glide bombs on Ukrainian cities and front-line positions. Two of the fighter-bombers were destroyed at Marinovka airbase in Russia's Volgograd region in a missile strike using the "Long Neptune" cruise missile, according to Ukraine.
