Senior Houthi official Hizam al-Assad denies losing al-Mokha and the Bab al-Mandab strait, claiming a pro-Saudi advance from the Lahj border was broken.
"They tried to create a media victory, but they were hit with despair and failure. Once again the lie of the imaginary victories they promoted was exposed."
Pro-Saudi forces launched "The Dawn of Yemen," their largest operation since the escalation began, retaking ground the Houthis seized near Bab al-Mandab in recent weeks.
