Several flights inbound to King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for an unknown reason, however follows the pattern seen following Houthi ballistic missile attacks on the region.

Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation says Houthi attacks on King Khalid International and Abha International airports on Tuesday and Wednesday killed three people and injured 36. The Houthis claimed both attacks and renewed a warning to international airlines against flying through Saudi airspace, excluding the airspace around Mecca and Medina. Saudi forces said they destroyed the ballistic missile launcher used in the Riyadh attack.

The U.S. Mission in Saudi Arabia has issued a security alert warning of possible drone and missile attacks.
