Surprise attacks and infiltration into Israel by air and land are among the scenarios troops will rehearse in a drill next week.
The exercise runs Sunday and Monday across northern and central Israel, days before national elections. The Israeli Air Force, Northern Command and Central Command are taking part. Expect more security forces and aircraft in those areas.
Lessons from the October 7 onslaught are built into the drill. The IDF: it was planned in advance, and there is no fear of a security incident.
