Further updates will be posted later, including any official announcements from the Romanian authorities.
According to the information available so far, one of the drones may have crashed on Romanian territory or been shot down. The other left Romanian airspace and was subsequently shot down by Ukrainian forces over Ukraine.
If the drone did crash in Romania, we may not receive further details until tomorrow. It could have fallen in an open field, and its exact location may still be unknown.
It is currently 7:30 PM there, already pitch dark.
