Traders on give Democrats about a 70% chance of becoming the majority party in both the U.S. House and Senate in Tuesday’s midterm elections. Republicans currently control both chambers, and Democrats need a net gain of three seats in the House and four seats in the Senate to gain a majority. All 435 House seats, 35 Senate seats and 36 governorships are on the ballot.
