U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has issued a fact check denying reports that a U.S. Navy MH-60R crashed in to the Red Sea last evening after showing on flight tracking sites with the emergency squawk code, 7700, and descending to near the surface of water before disappearing.
CENTCOM says that no crash occurred and all U.S. military aircraft and personnel are accounted for.
