UK Counterterrorism Police are investigating two Latvian men detained near RAF Molesworth. The MET Police first held them on suspicion of trespassing on a prohibited site, then rearrested both under the National Security Act 2023 for entering a prohibited place for a purpose prejudicial to the UK. No apparent link to prior threats against British bases, authorities say.
