UPDATE | ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Russia has agreed in principle to resume trilateral peace talks with Ukraine and the United States in November, according to the Kremlin.

The announcement follows nearly three hours of talks between Vladimir Putin and US envoy Steve Witkoff in St. Petersburg.

Kremlin adviser Yuri Ushakov says the negotiations could take place in Abu Dhabi around mid-November, focusing on security arrangements for Russia and Ukraine after the war.

A US official told Axios that Kyiv accepted the proposal for technical-level talks during Tuesday's meetings in Oslo, with Moscow agreeing today.

Moscow says the latest Ukrainian and European proposals still offer little basis for resolving the conflict. Zelensky continues to push for a ceasefire and a meeting between the three leaders.
