CENTCOM has rejected an IRGC commander's claim that Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz through its navy, calling the statement false.
According to CENTCOM, Iran no longer has a navy after American forces sank it, and thousands of ships have transited the strait freely in recent months, carrying more than 1 billion barrels of oil.
