US Tanker Fleet Update 06/OCT/2026 #IranWar
Tanker withdrawals have now slowed again, and the ongoing movements are the rotation of assets that have been deployed for a while, replacing with either completely "fresh" airframes that haven't been sent before, or aircraft that left a while back and are returning after a break.
To date, there have now been 329 KC-46/KC-135 tankers that I have tracked deploying into Europe or CENTCOM at least once during the Iran War. 62 of these have deployed twice or more.
