There have been minimal C-17 movements from bases in the United States over the past few days. The majority of flights at the moment are intra-CENTCOM flights which previously used the MOOSE callsign, but are now flying as REACH 4xxx.
These C-17s previously were based at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, but have relocated to Ramstein and Spangdahlem since the start of the war. The reason for the callsign change is not clear.
However, these REACH 4xxx/prev-MOOSE flights are the majority of the movements in Europe/ME currently.
Looking at flights from CONUS, we see now a total of 8 have now made it to Ovda Air Base from Biggs Army Airfield, along with two Navy flights to Al Minhad Air Base.
The withdrawal of support equipment from RAF Fairford has continued with two C-17s departing over the last 48 hours, one directly to Ellsworth AFB and one to Pease ANGB.
