War Secretary Hegseth will announce a 20 percent cut to admiral and general slots across the Army, Navy and Air Force, two Pentagon officials told The Hill. He unveils it Wednesday at his State of the Force address in Quantico, Virginia, to junior officers and enlisted leaders. Service branches have until Jan. 1 to implement, with some positions downgraded rather than cut.
