Y'all forget that this GCC countries put in their order a couple months ago for 5,250 interceptors followed by the US ordering 3,436 interceptors for itself to replace what was utilized in the Middle East and that's before we get to the new package of 500 interceptors for Ukraine.
Poland was supposed to get 600 Patriots by next year along with six Patriot batteries but due to Ukraine prioritization and Iran War that's been delayed.
Switzerland was supposed to get five Patriot batteries starting this year and now due to Ukraine prioritization have to wait till 2032 at the earliest.
The Sky Shield initiative 1,000 Patriot interceptor orderis not delayed by Ukraine prioritization but instead due to logistical bottlenecks in establishing their factory. The countries of this initiative that actually own Patriots are currently feeling a short-term inventory pinch due to Ukraine prioritization and have donated their active on hand interceptor stockpiles leaving European launchers sitting empty while they wait for industrial lead times.
The reality is it's not a scam it's a big backlog and we all have had half a decade plus to increase our manufacturing output and haven't and are still doing shit on half a decade plus timetables.
Now everyone is screaming and demanding they deserve Patriots before the other guy and all screaming unrealistic quantities that don't exist anymore and are going to have to wait for new factories that aren't slated to be open for two to four more years.
